"American statements shocked us, and negate our sacrifices and successes in the ongoing war against terror," Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani told the All Parties Conference (All Parties Conference) here at the Prime Minister House.
"Pakistan cannot be pressurised to do more," Gilani said. "Our doors are open for dialogue (with the international community)," he added.
"The blame game should end, and Pakistan's sensitive national interests should be respected," he said.
Gilani said US allegations would hurt counter terrorism efforts and we fully back afghan peace process. Commenting on assassination of Burhanuddin Rabbani, Gilani said it jolted the Afghan peace process.
The All Parties Conference began here at the PM House at 2:36 pm with the national anthem, politicians from all shades have gathered for a brain-storming session to review the serious challenges to national security and will evolve a strategy to counter threats at all fronts.
The All Parties Conference which holds great significance in the backdrop of strained ties between the US and Pakistan, is attended by 58 leaders of various political, religious and nationalist parties as well as Chief of Army Staff General and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
During the meeting Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar and DG ISI Ahmed Shuja Pasha will brief the participants on internal and external challenges being faced by the country.
